
Anna was born in 1990 in Kiev, Ukraine into a family of musicians, she began to study piano at the age of five.
She was six when she played her first public recital, and her National Debut with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine took place in 1997.
Since 1998, Anna Fedorova participated in a number of internationalpiano competitions for youth.
She is the winner of thirteen international contests, which include:
Scopello Valsessia (Italy, 1998) - 1st prize; Konzerteum (Greece, 1998), 1st prize; Ettlinge (Germany, 2000) – Special Prize; Koshice (Slovakia, 2003) - 2nd prize; Homel (Belarussia, 2003) - 1st prize; Concertino-Prague(Czech Republic, 2003) - 3rd prize; Frederick Chopin competition in Narva (Estonia, 2004) - 2nd prize and EMCY prize.
Her most recent awards include The 2nd Tbilisi International Young Pianists competition (Georgia, 2005) - 1st prize and also the Special Prize "The Best Pianist of the Competition"; Dorothy McKenzie award at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival - NY(USA 2006,2007) and the 2nd prize and the Special Prize of the Institute of Frederick Chopin at the Fourth Moscow International Frederick Chopin Competition for young pianists (Moscow, 2004).
Anna’s extensive concert career has taken her around the world to places such as Greece, France (Paris), Austria (Villa Schindler), Switzerland, Estonia (Tallinn, "Estonia Concert Hall), Lithuania (Kaunas, Churlenis Festival) and Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow), Germany, Poland, Azerbaijan (Baku), Mexico (Palacio de bellas artes, Mexico city, Xalapa, Verakruz), Netherlands ( Grote hall of the Concertgebouw, Grote hall of Muziekgebouw, Amsterdam; Concert hall in Leiden).
Anna’s appearances with orchestras include concerts with Philarmonia of the Nations (Concertgebouw in Amsterdam), ORQUESTA SINFÓNICA NACIONAL DE MÉXICO (Palacio de bellas artes, Mexico), Orkiestra Symfoniczna Filharmonii Szczecinskiej, The MSCMS's Youth Symphonic orchestra (Moscow), Academic TV and Radio orchestra of Ukraine, National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine and many others.
Anna performed under the baton of Carlos Miguel Prieto (Mexico), Shinik Hahm ( Korea), Martin Panteleev (Bulgaria-Germany), Vladimir Rijaev (Russia), Vladimir Sirenko, Yuri Lutziv, Nikolay Lisenko, Vyacheslav Redya, Sergey Solon’ko, Iosif Sozanski, Vyacheslav Blinov (Ukraine).
Anna has performed with such musicians as Sami Merdinian (violin, Argentina-USA); Fred Pot (cello, Netherlands); Oleg Sokolov (percussion, Ukraine-Czech republic); Evgeniy Ulianov (percussion, Ukraine), Denis Zhdanov (piano, Ukraine); Elena Miranchinska (piano, Bulgaria-USA), Rodion Efremov (piano, Kyrgyzstan- USA); Aleksandra Fedosova (violin, Ukraine-Germany), Alina Chebotariova (cello, Ukraine); Vahtang Jordania (piano, Georgia); Ketevan Kartvelishvili (piano, Georgia).
Anna performed in master class with: Piotr Palechni, Anna Malikova, Claus Hellvig, Jerome Rose, Fou Tsong, Eduard Zilberkant, Filipp Biankoni, Michael Beroff, Jeffrey Swan, Eteri Andjaparidze, Emanuel Krasovsky, Mykola Suk, Alexander Kobrin, Joaquin Achucarro, Akiko Ebi, and Alexander Braginsky.
Anna Fedorova is a student of Prof. Boris Fedorov at the Lysenko Musical College for Gifted Children (Kiev, Ukraine). She is the recipient of “The President of the Ukraine Scholarship”.
